A Eunice native and mother of three girls, Laura enjoys making art, dancing, traveling and playing with flowers outdoors. With a love of home and culture, she finds herself busy promoting, living and enjoying her hometown area.  As a part owner of Lakeview Park & Beach, she is able to share in the uniqueness and the joie de vivre that Eunice has to offer to traveling guests from all over the nation and the world.  As a child, she and her family traveled throughout Louisiana Cajun dancing with the petite CFMA group; as a student at LSU, she had a gig Cajun dancing for tourists at the Prairie Life Museum and as an adult, she looks forward to continuing to dance at Lakeview and the world renowned, newly renovated, Liberty Theater!  Laura has also served on the LARVC board for 4 years, participates in biannual ARVC 20 Group meetings in many different states and Canada.  She is currently working with a group of parents, French teachers and staff to form an organization to help promote and bring awareness to the French Immersion program at Mamou Elementary.
